I started doing makeup, at the age of three, with my mom’s art school markers. My first client was a white, stuffed poodle named, Aretha. Aretha, the toy dog, received cobalt blue eyeshadow and red lipstick which contrasted nicely with the pink, velvet tongue dangling from her mouth. Although she had been manufactured with felt eyelashes, I extended her lash bed with the use of a black marker. That’s when I knew what I wanted to be: A Makeup Artist.
Today, I am a licensed Aesthetician, Eyelash Extensions Specialist, and Makeup Artist. I attended Paul Mitchell the School and achieved a License in Aesthetics; I am a certified Xtreme Lash Eyelash Extensions Specialist and also maintain certification with Dermalogica and Image Skincare lines. In addition to lashes and waxing services, my background includes makeup for print, television, film, runway, and special events. I am happy to provide makeup consultations, classes, and application.
I love my job and want to share my professional beauty secrets with you! This blog will feature product reviews & recommendations, tricks & trials of the trade, and makeup & hair tips. From time to time, I may reference my interest in literature, writing, music, and dance.
